What’s the job?
To Ensure that Supplier invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner & paid in accordance with agreed payment terms
To ensure the integrity, accuracy and completeness of the Accounts Payable
To support business and suppliers
To ensure suppliers are set up/maintained correctly and in a timely manner
To ensure Travel and Entertainment expense claims are reviewed in accordance with policy and paid in a timely manner
The location preference is Sydney; however, for the right candidate, we are open to any of our other campuses – Adelaide, Melbourne, or Brisbane.
This is a 6 month fixed term full time contract - we are flexible with hours for the right candidate (3 - 4 days per week, please state this in your application).

Accountabilities:
  • Ensure that all supplier invoices received into Accounts Payable mailbox and our scanning solution system are appropriately coded, entered and authorised prior to payment being made
  • Ensure all supplier invoices are processed in a timely manner and follow up on open queries
  • Ensure that month end financial statements record all invoices that relate to the financial period being reported on
  • Ensure that invoice processing enables easy reporting of Income Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax, Goods & Services Tax, Capital Expenditure, Project expenditure
  • Ensure suppliers are paid in accordance with agreed payment terms
  • Ensure all invoices are valid Tax Invoices and that GST is correctly charged and recorded
  • Ensure all procedures and processes for the function are accurately and completely documented and up-to-date
  • Ensure that the function complies with all Internal Controls, Corporate Policies and reporting obligations
We Are Looking For:
  • Solid hand on experience in Accounts Payable function handling high volume of transactions
  • Excellent Attention to Detail
  • A flexible, resourceful & supportive team player
  • Understanding of the record keeping requirements for FBT, GST, Capital Projects
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft Accounts Payable, Concur, Implementation of Appzen, Coupa
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Proficient in data entry management
  • Professional & Co-operative approach
