Job Description
We currently have a new exciting career opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Lead to join the NRMA Finance Team, reporting to the NRMA Group Accounts Receivable Manager. As the Accounts Receivable Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the AR Collections Team, ensuring that all receivables are collected in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining healthy cash flow for the organization.
This role is located in our Sydney Olympic Park Office with flexible/hybrid working options available.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage a team of Collection Officers, ensuring high performance and motivation
- Oversee and manage the collections process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a professional and customer-friendly approach to collections.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained for all AR transactions and customer communications.
- Track and report key AR metrics, including days sales outstanding (DSO), aging reports, and cash flow forecasting.
- Ensure adherence to accounting and compliance policies, including SOX, audit requirements, and company standards.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- AR certification (e.g., CPA, AR-specific certifications) is a plus
- Knowledge and experience using Oracle, NetSuite, Tableau is desirable
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or credit control
- 2 years experience in a leadership role
- Proven track record in managing AR teams and meeting collection targets
- Strong understanding of AR processes, financial systems, and accounting principles
- High energy and enthusiasm to inspire a team
