About the Role
- Operate heavy machinery including:
- Dozers (CAT D10/D11)
- Graders (CAT 16M, 24M)
- Loaders (CAT 992, 994)
- Dump trucks (CAT 795, Hitachi EH5000)
- Deliver on production targets through effective equipment operation and task execution.
- Follow Macmahon’s safe work procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture.
- Work flexibly across different pit areas and equipment types as required.
- Conduct thorough pre-start inspections, identify potential issues, and report maintenance needs promptly.
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience operating multiple types of heavy mobile equipment in an open-cut mining environment
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and hazard management
- Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11.
- Ability to conduct a National Police Check and Drug and alcohol.
