About the role:
Allied Health Assistants play a vital role in high quality patient care in Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD). Working under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional, the Allied Health Assistant provides clinical and administrative service as directed by the Allied Health Professional according to NSW Health and NSW Health and MLHD policies, procedures and standards. The Community Care Allied Health assistant will be responsible for supporting the implementation of integrated care and chronic disease initiatives across the Murrumbidgee Local Health District. This includes provision of integrated and effective services for consumers with late stage degenerative, chronic conditions and disability in the community.
