What we are looking for:
As an Aquatic Centre Coordinator, you’ll manage daily operations, lead a passionate team and delivering high-quality customer experiences. You'll oversee everything from staff supervision, facility maintenance, safety compliance and aquatic programs.

What your day will look like:
- Coordinate aquatic centre operations.
- Manage staff to ensure adequate site supervision is maintained and review staff training and qualifications to ensure currency and coordinate training requirements.
- Manage staff rostering ensuring safety requirements and budget is adhered to and that the lifeguard roster complies with the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations
- Ensure the facility’s plant, equipment and buildings are managed in accordance with the asset management system, policy and plan.
- Review and update all relevant operational policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the Manager Of Aquatics on strategic growth initiatives, and collaborate with fellow Aquatic Coordinators to support planning and program development across the region.

What you’ll need for success:
- Current Pool Lifeguard qualification/licence (equivalent to SISSS00129)
- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications (equivalent to HLTAID011 and HLTAID009)
- Working with children blue card
- Certificate IV in Swimming Pool and Spa Service (equivalent to CPP41319), or ability to attain
What’s nice to have:
- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (equivalent to BSB40520)
- Food Safety Supervision certificate (equivalent to SITSS00051) (not required for Wetside)
- Qualification in the safe handling, transport and storage of swimming pool chemicals (equivalent to CPPSPS3001)
- Current swimming teacher qualification/licence (equivalent to SISSS00112)
- Teacher of Lifesaving Award
- White card
