Architectural Draftsperson/Designer

Join a progressive Drafting & Design studio known for its innovative approach to energy-efficient residential projects. With a strong pipeline of custom single homes, two-storey builds, and high-end renovations ranging from $500k to over $2M, this is a rare opportunity to take your design career to the next level.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead client-facing sketch and planning design phases.
• Collaborate with our offshore team to develop council-ready documentation.
• Work across a diverse project portfolio - from luxury two-storey homes and coastal builds to boutique renovations and small commercial projects.
• Engage in energy-efficient and sustainable design practices, including Passive House (Passivhaus) principles - full training provided.
• Contribute to a team delivering over 160 architectural drawings per year, with exposure to a variety of energy-efficient projects.
  
  

The Breakdown:

• 70% Design | 30% Drafting (all sketch applications handled in-house)
• Strong client and planning authority liaison
• Residential builds at 8-9+ star NatHERS rating
• Training towards 9-10 star and Passivhaus standards provided

• Strong residential design experience with a creative edge
• Confident in client meetings and concept presentation
• Comfortable with basic drafting and coordination with offshore teams
