About the Role
As an Asbestos Removalist with Aestec Services, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering critical work at the Queensland Alumina Limited site – one of the region’s most important industrial hubs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out A Class Asbestos Removal in accordance with all safety and environmental standards
- Constructing and managing asbestos enclosures to ensure safe containment during removal activities
- Lagging and general labouring duties as part of our broader industrial maintenance operations
- Supporting clean-up, disposal and decontamination processes with a high attention to detail and a commitment to team safety

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking motivated professionals with the following:
✔ A Class and/or B Class Asbestos Removal Certification
✔ Construction White/Blue Card
✔ QAL / BSL / RTAY Blue Medipass (or willingness to obtain)
✔ Working at Heights Ticket (desired but not essential)
✔ Confined Space & Gas Test Atmospheres (desired but not essential)
✔ A positive safety mindset and team-first attitude
