- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $99,938 - $110,271 + superannuation.
About the role
As the Assistant Data Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating data collections generated by funding programs within the Community Recovery branch. Your work will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of data used in internal and external reporting.
You will collaborate closely with Program Managers and staff to facilitate timely data exchange, support reporting requirements for senior stakeholders including the Minister’s Office and contribute to the preparation of program reports. Clear documentation and guides, detailing the reporting and analytical techniques utilised will be required. This role requires a proactive approach to data management and a commitment to supporting recovery efforts through reliable information.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Experience in managing and updating data collections.
- Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate data exchange.
- Skills in preparing data for reports and responding to information requests.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable with formulas, filters and manipulating large datasets.
- Understanding of Microsoft Power Suite for automation and visualisations is favourable.
