As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Griffith – Clifton Boulevard , you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations. Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
In this role, you will:
Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside our Centre Director and Educational Leader in a collaborative three-way leadership model, with a strong focus on mentoring educators and driving high-quality practice. Our centre is deeply embedded in the local community and values diversity, with a team that brings a rich mix of experience and cultural backgrounds. As Assistant Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding daily operations, supporting programming and documentation, and fostering real-time practice improvements. With dedicated off-the-floor time each afternoon, you’ll have the space to lead effectively while remaining connected to the learning environment
