About us:
The Woorabinda MPHS provides first line, health care for the people of Woorabinda and surrounding rural population. There are 63 Medical, Nursing, Allied Health, Operational and Administrative staff to provide: 24-hour Accident and Emergency care, Hospital Inpatient care, Residential Aged Care, Community Home Support services, Community Maternal and Child Health Services, Community and Public Health Services (including school health services), Community Alcohol and Drug and Mental Health Services, and Community Chronic Disease Services (including Renal Dialysis). The service also supports a range of General and selected Specialist Outpatient and Allied Health services, including Pharmacy and visiting dental services.

About the role:
The Assistant in Nursing delivers direct nursing care and personal care to residents and patients of the Woorabinda Multi-Purpose Health Service in accordance with the nursing care plan and with the Policies and Procedures and general guidelines of the Health Service, supervised by a Registered Nurse.
About you:
There are no mandatory qualifications for this position, however obtaining a cert III qualification in Aged Care would be well regarded. Appointment to this position however requires the person to attend appropriate education programs and enrol in certificate III in health and aged care or other applicable qualification as available.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $82,239 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $33.20 - $36.35 p.h.
An hourly rate between $40.83 - $44.71 p.h. (including 25% casual loading)
12.75% employer superannuation contribution
17.5% leave loading
