About the Role
The Assistant Manager oversees the service’s operational activities, ensuring they are carried out effectively and efficiently. This role involves meeting compliance obligations and identifying opportunities for improvement across the program consistent with the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
As a leader, the Assistant Manager is also expected to build strong relationships with children, families, and educators, fostering an inviting, engaging, high-quality, and responsive service.
The position is part time,.8FTE however .9FTE may be considered.
About You (Selection Criteria)
Previous experience in Leadership/Management in an ECEC setting with the ability to motivate, influence, mentor, and coach individuals and teams.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with children, families, educators, community, and other relevant stakeholders.
Previous experience in managing Compliance and Operations in an ECEC setting.
Previous experience in service development (e.g., QIP) in an ECEC setting.
In depth working knowledge of the NQF (comprising the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regs) and the NQS.
