About the Role:
We’re offering a full-time opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytically minded professional to join our Merchandising – Planning team as an Assistant Planner. This role is ideal for someone ready to grow their career in retail planning, with structured training and support from experienced mentors.
This is a development-focused role designed to build your skills across category planning, inventory management, and strategic analysis over a 12-month cycle. You’ll take ownership of a small category, applying your learnings to drive sales, profit, and inventory health.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support category planning and strategy execution.
- Manage inventory forecasts and vendor orders.
- Conduct analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with Buyers and Planners to optimise product ranges.
- Maintain data accuracy across planning systems.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in retail planning or allocation (2+ years).
- Advanced Excel skills; D365 experience a plus.
- A proactive, curious mindset and eagerness to learn.
