We’re on the hunt for an experienced and inspiring Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead service at a landmark venue on Sydney Harbour. Currently undergoing a full refurbishment and rebrand, this is a rare chance to help shape a new chapter for a destination that blends breathtaking views, premium dining, and the energy of the city’s vibrant arts scene.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading daily front-of-house operations with confidence, professionalism, and warmth
  • Recruiting, training, and mentoring a passionate restaurant team to deliver standout service
  • Creating a positive, performance-driven culture that values consistency and care
  • Driving pre-service briefings, ongoing staff development, and service refinements
  • Collaborating closely with the kitchen and events team to ensure seamless execution
  • Reporting to the Operations Manager and contributing to the leadership team’s success

What We’re Looking For:

  • A seasoned hospitality professional with experience in high-volume, quality-driven restaurants
  • A natural leader who leads from the front with energy, attention to detail, and a guest-first mindset
  • Strong skills in staff training, development, and performance management
  • Calm under pressure, proactive, and an excellent communicator
  • A passion for service and a genuine desire to create memorable guest experiences
