Hiring a person with native level or fluent speaker of Azerbaijani, who is able to teach an adult learner how to speak the language.
Lessons would be conducted face-to-face in-person at our office in Sydney CBD.
The student is keen to have lessons twice each week, starting in the late afternoon (after 3pm), for at least 2 hours or more per day. This schedule could be flexible to fit in with the availability of the language tutor.
The student is at a beginner level for learning Azerbaijani. The student is a business person who will be spending several months in Sydney for work, and wants to use some of this time to learn Azerbaijani because he has business opportunities to work there.
The tutor needs to be well organised, reliable, and have excellent communication skills. The teaching style should be lively and interactive to help and encourage the student to practice their skills and to remain motivated.
The tutor will need to communicate in English with other staff who are organising the program.
Preference is for someone with teaching experience, but it is not essential.
The successful candidate will need to be able to create a lesson plan, and support will be provided by the administration staff for this.
We will only consider applications from candidates who are already based in Sydney or can be here and are able to teach in-person. Lessons cannot be conducted online.
