Qualifications & experience
- Beauty Therapy Diploma - Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Beauty Therapist. Experience in management and/or a training role is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - Must have or be prepared to get
- Salon Management Diploma or experience - Strong advantage
- Laser and or Dermal Therapies Certificate and experience- Strong advantage
Tasks & responsibilities
- Training delivery - Ensure that all training is delivered in line with industry standards and best practices.
- Assessment - Assess students' practical skills and theoretical knowledge through various assessment methods, including practical demonstrations, written tests, and assignments
- Student Support - Provide guidance and mentorship to students, supporting their personal and professional development. Address student concerns or issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive learning experience. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students
- Industry Liaison - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and products to ensure training content remains relevant and cutting-edge.
- Administration support - Prepare and maintain accurate records, including attendance, assessment outcomes, and student progress reports.
- Team collaboration - Work collaboratively with other trainers, assessors, and administrative staff to ensure the smooth operation of the training program. Share best practices and contribute to a positive team environment.
