The role

We are currently a seeking a Bell Services Captain in Crown Sydney. This role is a fast-paced, highly interactive and guest focused leadership position that will see you supporting a large team of Bell Attendants and Doorpersons in the busy driveway area of the hotel.

Being the main connection between the Bell Services team and our guests, the Bell Services Captain will ensure a smooth and safe flow of vehicles entering and exiting the driveway, as well as providing efficiency in the storing, delivery and pick up of guest luggage. Being a part of the main entrance of the Hotel, our Bell Captains work cohesively with the larger Hotel team to capture a personalised service and elevated experience to each and every one of our guests and residents.

To be considered for this role, you must currently hold an unrestricted NSW driver’s license with a clean driving record. Due to the 24/7 nature of our business, you’ll need to have full availability to work across a Monday – Sunday rotating roster including days, nights, weekends and overnights.

You’ll have:

  • Ability to work a 24/7 rotational roster including overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays
  • An unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence
  • Confidence and capability in driving a variety of vehicles including manual and automatic
  • Strong skills in coaching, training, supporting and team leadership
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of guests & promptly handling any guest enquiries
  • Strong multi-tasking, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Able to learn and think quickly and master parking systems and processes
  • Ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships across all areas (internal and external)
  • Understanding of the Opera Hotel Property Management Systems advantageous
