About the Role
This role is ideal for a legal assistant seeking career growth. You will support the Client Services Manager and Specialists with client invoicing and administration for the Insurance Law & Litigation team.

Responsibilities
- Managing volume end to end client invoice processing including edits, write offs, reversals and dispute resolution in line with strict client service standards and billing rules
- Generating LEDES files and ensuring prompt submission through clients e-billing portals
- Setting up and maintaining users in clients e-billing portals
- Setting up delayed split invoices and tracking of deductibles matters
- Ensuring proper setup of new clients including rate and guideline management and maintenance
- Entering and maintaining client agreed volume discounts and alternative billing arrangements in the firms practice management system
- Providing general support to the Client Services team to ensure timely processing of a high volume of invoices
- Assisting as required with the new matter opening process ensuring all critical data and client specific rules and billing groups are captured and consistent
- Updating internal systems with client updates, including SharePoint, names, addresses, contacts
- Ensuring timely resolution of invoicing issues (including reversals) and assisting (as required) with pro-active debtor management
- Generating, finalising & sending cost agreements to insureds in consultation with the legal team
- General administration duties - including updating the client database and internal client and service line email distribution lists
About You
- Certificate in Legal Studies desired but not essential
- High level knowledge of Excel
- A working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Adobe
- Knowledge of document management and billing systems (ideally Aderant Expert)
- Administrative support and billing experience gained in a law firm
- Insurance law exposure desired
- Experience communicating with clients
