Bookkeeper Job Description
- Experience Xero software user (Mandatory)
- Qualified accounting professional
- Xero set up knowledge
- MUST be available to work onsite.
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Code allocation as per expense and liabilities
- Issuing invoice and following up payments
- Clearing received payment in Clinical software and Xero software
- Reconciliation EFT and Cash transactions
- Working with Accountant to prepare quarterly BAS
- Entering staff time sheets into Xero and creating .aba bank files
- Reviewing awards as per fair work requirements
- Processing superannuations
- Creating “aba” file for bills payable
- Comparing with the previous payments and budgets
- Preparing end of month reports for review
- Depositing cash into the nearest commbank
- Contacting customers for outstanding debts
- Point of contact for client queries
- Any other ad hoc accounting tasks as directed.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $32.50 – $40.00 per hour
Education:
- Bachelor Degree (Preferred)
Experience:
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (Required)
- Xero: 1 year (Required)
