We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as Build Manager reporting to Executive Manager - FWSAT Partner Deployment, Fixed Wireless Build.

A bit about your role

The Fixed Wireless Build Manager is responsible for leading the delivery and upgrade of fixed wireless networks through strategic partnerships, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

The role involves managing delivery partners, driving health and safety culture, overseeing program delivery, stakeholder engagement, risk and change management, and ensuring smooth handover to operations. It also includes leadership responsibilities and supporting the Executive Manager in broader team management and representation.

A bit about you

The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in Fixed/Mobile Wireless technologies, with extensive experience managing stakeholders and contractors in collaborative team environments. They possess strong technical knowledge in RF and transmission design, LTE systems, and civil/structural build methodologies.

Skilled in problem-solving and proficient in MS Office, they can manage delivery teams, chairing meetings, and traveling to remote locations. The candidate demonstrates leadership, adheres to safety and compliance standards, and actively contributes to maintaining a safe and risk-free workplace.
