As a Queensland-based Business Development Manager – Commercial Asset Finance, you will be responsible for driving market-leading origination growth within your state/territory, working closely with both existing and new commercial asset finance brokers. Your primary focus is to identify, activate, and expand broker relationships, ensuring Plenti maintains a top 3 lender position within key accounts. This is a highly relationship-driven, face-to-face role, requiring frequent broker engagement, strategic account management, and in-person meetings to deepen partnerships and maximize opportunities. By maintaining a strong sales activity cadence, staying ahead of market dynamics, and collaborating with the Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal role in positioning Plenti as a market leader in the commercial asset finance market.Key Responsibilities:• Prospect, onboard, and activate new commercial asset finance brokers, expanding Plenti’s market footprint through face-to-face engagement.• Build deep, long-term relationships with existing brokers, ensuring high engagement, increased share of wallet, and a consistent flow of originations• Own sales performance within your state/territory, ensuring consistent deal flow, increased portfolio activation, and origination volume growth.• Maintain a high-touch approach, meet with brokers in person regularly to strengthen relationships, reinforce Plenti’s value proposition, and drive business growth.• Stay ahead of competitor activity, market trends, and policy changes, proactively providing feedback to enhance product offerings and maintain Plenti’s competitive edge.• Work closely with your RM to optimize broker engagement, retention, and performance, ensuring that your state/territory delivers industry-leading results.•Drive disciplined sales activity, ensuring frequent in-person engagement with key brokers, strategic account reviews, and execution of growth plans.Key Qualifications• Strong understanding of commercial asset finance, particularly within the broker channel• Demonstrated experience managing broker relationships and driving lending volume• Proven ability to increase broker utilisation, share of wallet, and generate new business• Ability to engage, influence, and support brokers to maximise business potential• Comfortable using data to inform decisions and optimise sales performanceCompetencies / Skills• Broker relationship management• Sales and business development• Negotiation & stakeholder engagement• Market & competitor analysis• Collaboration & teamworkReporting RelationshipsThis position reports to the National Sales Manager, Commercial LendingWhat's life like at Plenti?
