The Role
We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join our team at Adbri! You will work at the heart of the business — translating numbers into insights, influencing decisions, and helping to shape future strategy.
You will be a trusted advisor and play a vital role in driving financial performance, improving processes, and supporting key planning and forecasting cycles.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders and the wider finance and operations team, providing transparent, accurate, and timely financial information and analysis, along with commercial support to drive business improvement initiatives and value creation opportunities.
- Deliver clear, insightful financial analysis that informs decisions.
- Collaborate with the business to prepare budgets and forecasts, ensuring they are realistic, accurate, and aligned with strategic priorities.
- Prepare monthly management reports, including dashboards on key performance drivers and variance analysis.
- Perform month-end finance activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Identify growth and efficiency opportunities across operations.
- Prepare and review inventory stocktake reconciliations in collaboration with operations managers, ensuring accuracy and resolving variances.
- Maintain balance sheet integrity through accurate reconciliations, appropriate accounting treatment, and compliance with controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement.
About You
- 7–10 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting, or Commercial roles, ideally in complex, fast-paced industries.
- CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent).
- Proven ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with solid commercial acumen.
- Confident communicator who can translate financial detail into clear business insights.
- Strong systems skills, with advanced Excel and ERP experience.
