The Opportunity

As our Business Systems Lead – Enterprise Applications, you’ll join a passionate, purpose-driven Digital, Data and Technology (DDT) team focused on delivering secure, functioning and integrated platforms that empower our teams to enrich the lives of our residents. This is a unique opportunity to manage Aveo’s core enterprise systems – notably finance and HR - and lead their evolution through continuous implementation and improvements.
Your Impact
- Take ownership of Aveo’s core enterprise platforms, ensuring they’re stable, secure, and continually evolving to meet the needs of a growing, purpose-driven organisation.
- Monitor system performance, proactively troubleshoot issues and coordinate timely fixes and support with internal teams.
- Apply technical expertise to design, implement and evolve enterprise platform enhancements with measurable impact.
- Lead the configuration and change management lifecycle of key systems – ensuring every update supports business stability.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and product owners – particularly Finance, Operations and People & Risk - to deeply understand Aveo processes and future technology needs.
- Engage with platform vendors to ensure that strong partnerships exist between vendors and Aveo for current SLA’s and future operations.
- Identify and act on opportunities to reduce technical debt, enhance architecture, and deliver long-term value to the business.
- Share knowledge, uplift capability, and empower users through effective training, documentation and education.
- Represent Aveo’s Technology Team in cross-functional forums - contributing ideas, sharing insights, and influencing digital innovation.
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise and Cyber Security Architects to ensure solutions are secure, integrated and aligned to architectural principles.
- Contribute to a tech culture where continuous improvement, customer-centred thinking and excellence thrive.

- Strong hands-on experience with cloud-based ERP platforms in a similar role (e.g Functional Lead, ERP Lead, Functional Consultant or similar)
- A degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience, paired with a passion for delivering smart, scalable solutions.
- Proven experience managing enterprise systems - ideally with exposure to TechnologyOne CIA, AP automation and HRIS Systems (e.g. Chris21, Ceridian Dayforce, or similar)
- Ability to drive process improvements and application enhancements that improve efficiency, data integrity, and user experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing systems integration (e.g API, Azure Logic Apps or scripting etc.)
- A collaborative approach to building relationships - with internal stakeholders across Finance, Operations and People & Risk, and with external vendors to support system performance.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to balance technical depth and business context.
