Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people? Anglicare is seeking a dedicated Foster Care Case Manager to provide comprehensive case management services within our foster care program. This role ensures that each child’s needs and Case Plan are met, including placement support, family time facilitation, and health and education coordination. You’ll also support carers in maintaining standards aligned with OOHC and agency requirements.
Based in Telopea, this role is a maximum term, full time contracted role for 12 months.
Your Opportunity
- Coordinate and implement case management in line with Anglicare’s guidelines and Permanency Case Management Policy.
- Facilitate and monitor family time with birth families, ensuring safety and wellbeing.
- Build strong relationships with children, carers, birth families, and stakeholders including the Department of Communities and Justice.
- Conduct assessments and produce high-quality family visit reports.
- Support foster carers through recruitment, training, and reviews.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Promote a safe and respectful workplace, valuing cultural diversity and safety practices.
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Welfare/Community Services or related discipline.
- Unrestricted NSW driver’s licence.
- Understanding of OOHC issues and relevant legislation.
- Demonstrated skills in assessment, counselling, and casework.
- Knowledge of child protection and family support processes.
