Your New Role
Reporting to the Program Coordinator - Youth Skills, you will be one of our many valuable Case Support Workers who work in close consultation with youth and community to provide individualised one-on-one support and assistance to at-risk youth gaining nationally recognised skills and vocational qualifications. You provide information, advice and referrals to service the participant's needs and undertake client focused casework, whilst safeguarding the wellbeing and safety of all program participants. About You
- Minimum Certificate IV in youth work, community development/welfare, human services or related discipline or equivalent to 3 years experience in the social and community sector (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in case management roles
- An understanding of working with young people and trauma and an understanding of child protection concerns and processes
- Demonstrated skills and experience working with culturally diverse young people.
- Hold a current drivers' licence or a light rigid driver’s licence, and a Restricted Drivers' Authority (or ability to obtain)
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
