About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Marina Attendant to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation of the marina. You’ll be the eyes and ears on the ground – performing site inspections, assisting penholders, managing bins, cleaning public areas, and providing outstanding customer service.
- Performing regular marina site inspections including a Dockmaster Report, identifying vessel movements and reporting on any anomalies.
- Managing and replacing waste bins and collecting debris
- General tidying of public walkways from leaves and weeds and cleaning of marina and public areas when required.
- Collection and disposal of windblown rubbish in the marina area.
- Providing friendly, helpful service to marina users
- Assisting with tasks as requested by the Operations Coordinator and reporting any issues
About You
You’re someone who thrives outdoors, is proactive, and enjoys helping people. You’ll have:
- Experience in customer service or a similar operational environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The physical capacity to manage manual tasks
- A current C Class driver’s licence
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours for bin servicing when needed
- Previous Local Government experience in a similar environment (desirable)

Hours: 40 hours per fortnight, generally worked on Mondays and Fridays. No weekend work required.
Salary: $42.36 per hour (inclusive of casual loading).
