The Great Southern Hotel Sydney is a 4 Star hotel located in the heart of Sydney CBD. We are currently seeking an experienced Housekeeping Hotel Room Attendant on a casual basis to join our team. You must take pride in your work and be willing to go that "extra mile" to make our guest's stay an enjoyable one. This is a physically demanding role that requires an energetic and enthusiastic person who is ready and willing to work as part of a team.
As a Hotel Room Attendant, you will be responsible for servicing and cleaning allocated guest rooms, stocking and maintaining the housekeeping trolley, handling all amenities, chemicals and equipment according to specific instructions and OH&S standards and undertaking special cleaning projects as directed.
Successful candidates will:
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Be self-motivated and be able to work unsupervised
- Be flexible and available for work across a 7 day roster with an early morning start.
- Have knowledge and understanding of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures
- Be committed to providing extraordinary service
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum 12 months experience in a 3 to 5 star establishment
