About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring orders are received and dispatched for delivery safely and on time. Tasks are varied and will include:
- Performing general administrative tasks including, stock control, dispatch, and delivery of goods
- Unloading stock from trucks
- Availability to work 2-3 days per week, including Saturdays
- Check and receive stock in and out of store
- Maintain the presentation of the branch and keep shelves full of product for display and sale
- Be proactive in keeping site clean and safe
- Processing counter sales through POS
- Maintaining safety processes
- Drivers’ licence essential
- Forklift licence will be advantageous
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for delivering great customer service. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliability and punctuality
- Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
- Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptly
