The casual hourly rate will depend on Teaching and Vocational qualifications and experience and will range from $86.15 - $93.08 per hour for Teaching and $58.56 - $63.23 per hour for Non- Teaching.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking experienced teachers to join the Centre for Tourism Hospitality and Events team on a casual basis to teach and assess units in the areas of the SIT30122 and SIT50122 SIT Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Packages and related courses.

KEY SELECTION CRITIERIA
Please write one paragraph for each Key Selection Criteria, explaining how you meet the Selection Criteria based on your current/previous work and life experience:
- Applicants require a vocational qualification in a relevant vocational area of Tourism and approved industry experience.
- Minimum teaching qualification of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116).
- Demonstrated ability and experience to plan, teach and assess in a range of units in the FBP training package or accredited curriculum, in the areas of SIT30122 Certificate III in Tourism and SIT50122 Diploma of Travel and Tourism Management.
- Ability to research and develop appropriate teaching materials and methods of assessment, and adapt delivery and assessment to meet student needs using appropriate technology in a diverse teaching environment.
- Knowledge of current trends in the Tourism industry particularly within the tour guiding sector and a network of industry contacts.
- Demonstrated behaviours that align with the William Angliss Institute Values.
