Journey Early Learning is seeking a passionate and experienced Educational Leader to join our Sale team, inspiring, motivating, and supporting educators while driving excellence in practice and pedagogy.

We are a 110 place Centre serving children from six weeks to six years, creating learning environments that are more than classrooms—they’re magical spaces where imaginations thrive, friendships form, and young minds bloom.

About the role:
As our Educational Leader, you’ll be a pivotal member of the leadership team, using your influence and expertise to guide curriculum programming and provide exceptional support and mentorship to educators across every room
Key Responsibilities:
Inspire and lead a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and learning for every child.
Ensure children’s learning is documented professionally and to a high standard using Storypark.
Collaborate with the team to embed and maintain consistent, high-quality practices across the service.
Build strong, inclusive relationships with children to support meaningful learning and development outcomes.
Foster supportive, open partnerships with families to communicate expectations and meet individual needs.
Assist in maintaining compliance with NQS standards, ensuring best-practice procedures are followed.
Support the inclusion of all children, catering to diverse learning abilities and needs.
About you:
You’re a passionate, driven Educational Leader who inspires educators, fosters collaboration, and champions high-quality early learning. You thrive on mentoring and supporting your team while creating engaging, developmentally appropriate programs that spark curiosity and a love of learning in every child.
Key skills and requirements:
Bachelor’s or Diploma-level qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Passionate about children, their development, and safety.
Proven ability to create, implement, and evaluate high-quality educational programs.
Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Law.
Skilled in leadership and mentoring; approachable, collaborative, and eager to learn.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.
Valid Working with Children Check.
