The Role
McKinlay Shire Council is seeking to employ a responsible, adventurous, passionate, and creative applicant for the position of childcare trainee educator. The suitable applicant will be enthusiastic, have good organisational and communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a small team ofEducators, along with the children and their families to reflect the culture, values, and community connection of our small town. This position is perfectly suited to someone who is looking to work in the childcare sector with no prior qualifications.
As our new trainee, you will be supported through a funded Certificate III in Early Education and Care, as you build your foundational experience while working as an active member for our Early learning
centre.
Desired applicants will have the following qualifications and documentation:
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Blue Card (or willing to obtain)
