We are currently seeking a Maintenance Administrator to join our team in our Maintenance Department at South Walker Creek.
Job Description
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Administrative Support: Managing daily office tasks, including filing, document control, and correspondence.
- Work Order Management: Logging, tracking, and processing maintenance requests and work orders through designated systems.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Organizing and coordinating maintenance schedules, both preventative and corrective, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Vendor Management: Liaising with contractors and service providers, managing contracts, and processing invoices.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment information, and relevant documentation.
- Budget Management: Assisting with the preparation and monitoring of maintenance budgets, processing purchase orders, and tracking expenses. Commercial experience highly desirable
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and other relevant standards.
- Communication: Facilitating communication between maintenance teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Both written and verbal, for effective interaction with various parties.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in record-keeping, scheduling, and financial transactions.
- Proficiency in relevant software: Experience with maintenance management systems SAP, accounting software, and standard office applications.
- Problem-solving abilities: Proactively identifying and addressing issues related to maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations: Understanding and applying safety standards within a maintenance context.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing priorities and tasks within a dynamic environment.
