Just Focus Pty Ltd is a respected local company proudly servicing Innisfail and Mareeba Councils. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to take over cleaning duties at the Mareeba Library.
About the Role: You’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for library staff and visitors. This role requires a strong eye for detail, consistency, and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- General cleaning of library facilities including floors, bathrooms, windows, and common areas
- Ensuring hygiene standards are met and maintained
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Following site specific cleaning schedules and protocols
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous cleaning experience (commercial or public spaces preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn training provided
