About the Role
We’re seeking a reliable and hands-on Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations at a key government client site in Williamtown, NSW. This role is perfect for someone who excels in staff coordination, compliance monitoring, and stakeholder communication within a structured environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operational Oversight
- Create and manage rosters to meet service and budget expectations
- Conduct daily pre-starts and weekly toolbox talks
- Process staff leave, timesheets, and manage site passes
- Monitor stock inventory and place orders as required
- Complete 20+ service inspections weekly, plus 4 specialist inspections
- Address service issues and escalate complaints where needed
- Support training and ensure compliance with WHS and BGIS reporting timelines
- Prepare end-of-month reporting and liaise with internal teams to maintain compliance
Client & Team Relationships
- Build strong working relationships with client representatives and internal teams
- Ensure cleaning services meet contract KPIs and expectations
- Represent BGIS in meetings and provide regular updates and reports
- Promote a cohesive, collaborative, and values-driven team culture
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in cleaning supervision or facilities management
- Strong understanding of compliance, WHS, and service standards
- Confident communicator with strong leadership skills
- Ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced environments
- Audit and inspection experience highly regarded
