What you'll be doing
The Clinical Neuropsychologist is responsible for the provision of neuropsychological services to children and young people with a history of acquired brain injury or developmental neurological disease/disorder. Neuropsychological services include:
- Formal cognitive assessment using appropriate up to date standardised, norm referenced measures;
- Feedback and education to children and young people (as appropriate) and their families;
- Preparation of a report that summarises results and provides a formulation and recommendations based on all key information from the assessment process.
- Provision of psycho-education to the children, families and where appropriate to schools or educational facilities;
- Feedback to clinical team members;
- Working closely within a multi-disciplinary team.
