About the Role:

This position can be based in Sydney Australia OR Auckland NZ , with a preference for NZ.

Are you a TM1 whiz with a knack for transforming raw data into actionable insights? We're looking for a Commercial Analyst with deep expertise in IBM TM1/ Planning Analytics to help usaccelerate our data-to-decision cycle and fast-track the automation of key reporting and dashboards that drive commercial performance.

In this role you drive the evolution of our commercial planning, analysis, and reporting through expert use of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1). This is a high-impact, specialist role that supports the Commercial Finance Team, focusing on accelerating the delivery of dashboards and automated reporting and commercial insight tools.

We’re looking for someone with strong TM1 development capability who can build smarter tools, streamline processes, and unlock value from data – fast.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own, optimize, continuously improve the TM1 environment, its reporting, and dashboards to deliver automated and insightful reporting across the business
• Partner with Commercial and Finance teams to translate business questions into data solutions using TM1
• Design and implement financial models and templates that are scalable, logical, and business-focused
• Build and refine SKU-level profitability models and margin insights that guide pricing, promotions, channel and product strategy
• Manage and improve TM1 master data, mappings, and dimensional structures to ensure integrity

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM TM1 / Planning Analytics, including cube model building, rules, TurboIntegrator processes, and dashboarding in PAW and PowerBI / Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce, information systems, business intelligence or a related field
• Proficiency in BI reporting, dashboard development and data analysis with a strong understanding of data visualisation best practices and tools
• Strong Excel reporting and modelling skills; Power BI or SQL knowledge advantageous
• Proven experience in FMCG, food/ beverage or health and wellbeing industry, ideally working with large datasets and complex product/channel structures
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across Finance, Sales, and Marketing functions
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with commercial and marketing teams
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
• Effective time management and prioritization abilities.
