In this senior, executive-facing position, you’ll lead the organisation’s commercial, procurement, and contract management functions. You’ll balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution, driving cost efficiencies, managing supplier relationships, and supporting high-value negotiations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the drafting, negotiation, and administration of high-value contracts
- Developing and executing procurement strategies to drive cost and quality outcomes
- Managing and mentoring a small team of Purchasing Officers to build capability
- Driving supplier relationship management and vendor performance evaluations
- Providing commercial insights to support negotiations and operational priorities
- Collaborating with legal advisors to ensure contracts and regulatory compliance
- Supporting executives in engaging with key stakeholders and strategic suppliers
- Partnering with the CAO to deliver commercial objectives and strategic initiatives
About you
We’re seeking an experienced and commercially astute leader with a strong background in contract management, procurement strategy, and stakeholder engagement. Success in this role will require both strategic capability and a professional, collaborative approach.

- 12+ years’ experience in commercial, contracts, or procurement leadership roles
- Expertise in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex contracts
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, balancing risk and value creation
- Experience leading small teams and building capability
- Exceptional stakeholder management, including executives, suppliers, and regulators
- Professional communication style with a focus on integrity, collaboration, and results
- Degree-qualified in Business, Law, Finance, or a related discipline
