As a Relationship Manager, you’ll service CommSec’s most significant investors and help grow our premium offering within CommSec One, focused on Asian backgrounds. You’ll be part of a passionate team focused on delivering exceptional service experiences and unlocking client value across CommSec’s product suite.

As a team member of CommSec One’s service and relationship management team, Asian focused. You will service inbound support enquires and play an important role in growing CommSec One’s Asia aligned offering, by digitally engaging target cohorts with tailored content to promote awareness of CommSec One’s capability.
Quality of interaction is paramount, equally important is the ability uncover opportunities to deliver value through your interactions and identify business growth opportunities that benefit clients self-directed investment decisions. All whilst adhere to the highest standards of quality and compliance standards.
As a Relationship Manager within CommSec One, you will:
- Client Engagement : Respond to inbound calls and emails to deliver personalised support across Equities; domestic and international, and Margin Lending.
- Trade Facilitation : Assist clients with placing, amending, and cancelling trades via CommSec platforms, while providing live market insights and company updates.
- Product Knowledge & Education : Maintain deep expertise in CommSec and CBA offerings, using every interaction to provide product education.
- Issue Resolution : Resolve operational queries including CHESS, settlements, account changes, and platform support, ensuring timely follow-up and client satisfaction.
- Sales & Growth : Promote IPOs and placements to Sophisticated Investors and identify opportunities to grow client relationships.
- Champion high-value client service with a client centric approach in all activities.
- Deliver culturally aligned service to Mandarin-speaking and Chinese Australian clients, supporting the Asia Desk’s mission to deepen engagement and deliver on cultural alignment.
- Identify and escalate growth opportunities by profiling inbound clients and passing high-potential activities for warm follow-up with subject matter experts.
- Drive product penetration by educating clients on relevant offerings and tailoring engagement.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless service delivery, including coordination with quality assurance, Marketing, and Product to support Mandarin-language collateral and scalable outreach strategies
- Maintain compliance and service excellence in all interactions, adhering to CommSec’s non-advisory, execution-only standards while delivering a premium experience.
- Risk Awareness : Support monitoring of market risk issues and ensure compliance with service standards.
To be considered for this rewarding role where you have the opportunity to enhance CommSec’s reputation as the market leader you will have:
- Mandarin language skills essential (Cantonese desirable)
- 3+ years’ experience working in financial markets.
- Strong financial markets knowledge and a passion of investments.
- Proven relationship management of high value clients.
- Experience contributing to the planning and execution of in person events.
- Experience and confidence proactively engaging clients.
- Proven experience in executing strategic initiatives.
- Proven consistent performance achieving and exceeding targets in a service-based role. RG146 Accreditation desired: General, Securities, Foreign Exchange, Margin Lending, ADA level 1 and 2.
