The Opportunity
Benetas is looking for a dynamic individual to join us in the position of Communications Advisor. A key role within our Communications team, the Communications Advisor drives the delivery of a strategic internal communications approach through channels that align our workforce in a shared vision and purpose.
Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Communications Advisor provides strategic advice to the business regarding the rollout of key initiatives, and implementing internal communications programs that inspire, engage and connect our people to our vision.
This role is responsible for developing and implementing the organisation’s internal communications, social dividend and LinkedIn strategy and approach with particular focus on:
- Providing expert internal communications advice and counsel regarding the rollout of key strategic initiatives and programs of work.
- Developing and executing an organisation-wide content calendar and communication plans and channels that inspire and engage our workforce, leverage staff engagement activities and align with our Employee Value Proposition.
- Reviewing our enterprise-wide internal communication channels to analyse effectiveness, using insights and technology to improve outcomes and introduce new channels, as appropriate.
- Driving the organic content strategy for LinkedIn, aligned to our business objectives and content pillars to enhance Benetas’ profile and reputation.
- Driving engagement and use of Benetas’ social dividend ‘One Wish’ and ‘Hardship’ programs, ensuring responsible allocation of funding support for clients experiencing hardship.

About you
To be successful in this role you will need:
- At least seven years’ experience working in an internal communications role.
- Experience in devising and implementing organisation-wide internal communication strategies and plans in an environment undergoing transformation with dispersed workforces.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences across multiple channels.
- Proficient in leveraging Microsoft 365, digital and social media channels and applications including LinkedIn and SharePoint.
- A strategic mindset, creative flair and strong attention to detail.
- A natural storyteller, passionate about content creation and business partnership.
- Well-developed stakeholder relations, communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrated experience supporting the review, development and delivery of strategic communications channels, plans and campaigns, in alignment with change management principles.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
