About the Role:
As a Communications Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering impactful internal and external communications across the Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network. You will manage a diverse communications portfolio, supporting the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Team by developing and implementing innovative strategies that promote programs, services, and initiatives in alignment with both organisational and government objectives. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of mediums, building collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure clear, consistent, and engaging messaging. You will also evaluate the effectiveness of communication activities, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation. With a focus on responsiveness, flexibility, and creativity, you will ensure communications are delivered to a high standard, support strategic goals, and make a meaningful impact on the community we serve.
About You:
- Proven experience in the development and implementation of communications plans and activities including print and electronic publications, information materials, videos, website and intranet content, social media, advertising and events.
- Proven experience in developing internal communications, presentations, speaking points and correspondence.
- Proven experience in providing public relations advice including effective risk management strategies.
- Proven experience in developing relationships and working collaboratively with staff, stakeholders and service providers including advertising agencies, graphic designers, photographers and printers.
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and other multi-cultural consumers.
- Experience using Microsoft Office 365 including software packages for intranet websites
