About the Role
As a Support Worker, you will assist clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will play a key role in enhancing their quality of life by providing person-centered care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting clients with mobility and transfers
- Transporting clients to appointments or community activities
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting changes in clients’ conditions
About You
- Previous experience as a Support Worker or in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to undergo relevant background checks (Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening)
- Relevant certifications such as First Aid, CPR, and Manual Handling (preferred)
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (desirable but not essential)
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour
