EastCoast Apprenticeships, in collaboration with a highly reputable and well-established concreting company based on the Sunshine Coast, is offering multiple traineeship opportunities in Concreting. This is an excellent chance to kick-start or reboot your career with hands-on experience, formal training, and a pathway to a nationally recognised qualification – all while earning a full-time wage.
About the Role
As a Concreting Trainee, you will be working across a variety of construction sites from Glass House Mountains to Noosa, contributing to projects that help shape local infrastructure and communities. This is a full-time position with an immediate start available for the right candidates.
You will learn and develop a wide range of practical skills including:
- Erecting and dismantling formwork for concrete structures
- Placing, compacting, and finishing concrete
- Reading and interpreting construction and engineering drawings
- Reinforcing concrete using steel and mesh
- Operating tools, machinery, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Complying with all relevant workplace health and safety protocols
This role offers the perfect balance of structured learning and real-world experience, enabling you to gain your Certificate III in Concreting under the guidance of skilled tradespeople and supportive mentors.

About You
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals who are passionate about working outdoors and building a solid career in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will:
- Have a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in learning a skilled trade
- Be physically fit and capable of performing manual labour in varying weather conditions
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, punctuality, and a commitment to teamwork
- Hold a current P1 driver’s licence and have reliable transport
- Possess a valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)
