As a Consultant within Strategic Execution for NAB’s Corporate and Institutional Banking (C&IB) division, you will support the design and execution of large-scale strategic programmes of work that directly align to C&IB strategy across the division.

In the role of consultant, you will join the Strategic Execution team that’s doubling down on keeping it simple.

Each day, you’ll go above and beyond to:

  • Prepare and support the design of specific strategic initiatives/programs that contribute to CIB’s strategic ambitions.
  • Collaborate with Group, Divisional and Business teams to ensure Enterprise lens / alignment on outputs.
  • Prepare content for C&IB Leadership team level, SteerCos and Executive level Working Groups and ensure insights and effective workings within governance structures.
  • Build a strong network of relationships within C&IB and NAB that enables you to have a handle on opportunities/issues that don’t show up on paper and solve for them.

  • Strategic mindset and strong customer focus with excellent listening skills, to draw out underlying issues.
  • Strong analytical capability, including commercial acumen and numerical literacy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to all audiences including Executives.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to shifting scenarios and distil ‘what’, ‘so what’, and ‘now what’.
