About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to improving respiratory and public health outcomes across South Australia. In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of clinical care and public health services through the SA Tuberculosis Program, supporting patients within the Department of Thoracic Medicine and those referred to its specialised services. You will play a key role in ensuring best practice standards in the design and delivery of clinical services, making a meaningful impact in both individual patient care and broader public health.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to teaching and training at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, helping shape the next generation of healthcare professionals. Your involvement in research activities—including the development and enhancement of new and existing programs—will support continuous innovation and excellence in respiratory medicine and tuberculosis control.
About You
You are a dedicated medical specialist with a strong commitment to excellence in clinical care, public health, teaching, and research. You bring a collaborative approach, a patient-centred focus, and a passion for continuous improvement in respiratory medicine and tuberculosis control.
Hold MBBS and specialist qualifications with AHPRA Specialist Registration
Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice and strong professional integrity
Extensive experience in TB care, public health, teaching, and research
Highly developed communication, teamwork, and conflict management skills
