About the Role
MSS Security is seeking experienced Control Room Operators to join our team at a high-profile client site in the heart of Sydney’s CBD.
This is an exceptional opportunity to work at one of our most prestigious and secure locations, playing a key role in the real-time protection of people, assets, and infrastructure. You will be operating within a fast-paced, high-tech control room, monitoring a complex network of over 500+ CCTV cameras and supporting coordinated responses to incidents across the site.

Roles and Responsibilities
As a Control Room Operator, your duties will include:
- Monitoring CCTV, access control, and alarm systems to detect and respond to suspicious or unauthorised activities
- Logging and escalating incidents in line with site protocols
- Conducting regular system checks to ensure all surveillance and communication equipment is functioning
- Preparing accurate and timely incident reports and logs
- Maintaining situational awareness and providing ongoing operational support to site security personnel
- Liaising with emergency services and site stakeholders as required
- Complying with all relevant procedures, legislation, and MSS Security standards
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for high-calibre professionals who are confident, reliable, and thrive under pressure. You will need to bring focus, technical competency, and strong communication skills to the role.
Minimum Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience working in a control room or security operations centre
- Proven ability to operate complex CCTV and security management systems
- NSW Security Licence (with Control Room function)
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications
- Availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert during long periods of monitoring
- Effective communicator with excellent verbal and written English skills
- High level of computer literacy and familiarity with incident reporting tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
