The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Crew Leader / Leading Hand to join our field crews working across Greater Adelaide. In this role you’ll lead a small on-site team and play a key part in delivering essential civil works across the water infrastructure space. This is a permanent full-time role with the chance to build your skills, and the opportunity to develop your career in the water industry.
Responsibilities include:
- General labouring including site preparation and onsite support
- Installation of new water pipelines, new customer connections and backfilling
- Operating state-of-the-art plant & equipment
Your background may be from one of the following:
- Civil construction or pipelaying
- Water or wastewater infrastructure
- Or you might be looking to break into the industry, either way we would like to chat with you - We value our people and are ready to invest in you, providing all required training!
You will bring:
- Valid Drivers Licence
- OHS Construction Induction Card (White card)
- Previous experience leading crews on-site
- The ability to work on sites across Greater Adelaide
- Good work ethic and positive work attitude with a strong focus on safety
- HR or MR licence, excavator or skidsteer tickets are desirable but not essential (we can also provide these)
To make sure that you’re fully fit to join our team you will also need to pass our pre-employment medical which includes a drug & alcohol test. Please be aware that these roles may require you to enter confined spaces, successful candidates will be provided with certified confined spaces training if required.
