We are looking for a talented and experienced Data Applications Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play an important role in designing and developing business critical applications, reports and dashboards using Streamlit, Power BI, and other tools. As a senior member of the team, you will help drive best practices, collaborate with key stakeholders, and ensure data-driven decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Report Development: Work closely with business leaders to design, develop, and manage business-critical Streamlit apps and Power BI reports and dashboards.
- AI Integration: Incorporate LLM models into data applications to enhance outputs and user experience.
- CI/CD Processes: Collaborate with the Data Lead to develop and implement robust CI/CD processes, version control strategies, and manage access controls for BI tools.
- Data Quality: Identify data and intelligence gaps and work with data engineers to ensure the creation of fit-for-purpose data models.
- Mentorship: As a senior figure, guide other analysts and report developers to improve and refine existing reports and processes, adhering to best practices.
- Innovation: Explore and test new technologies and approaches for reporting and dashboarding, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends.
Essential Requirements
- We are seeking solid experience of at least 5 years in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Data Science, Backend Software Development or a similar role.
- Degree qualified in a data-related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines) or equivalent practical experience in transitioning into a data-centric role.
- Cloud Experience: Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Ability to effectively build and manage stakeholder relationships and present your work clearly.
- Strong ability to document your work clearly and thoroughly.
- You thrive working independently but also enjoy collaborating within a team and building solid working relationships.
- Excellent communication skills to share your solutions and ideas with cross-functional teams.
Technical Skills
- Python: Expertise in Python for data processing and visualization, particularly related to Streamlit development and REST APIs.
- Git: Experience managing your work in Git in a multi-user environment.
- Docker/Containerisation: Experience deploying containerised applications.
- Power BI / DAX: Proficient in designing reports and dashboards using Power BI and writing efficient DAX formulas.
- SQL: Advanced skills in SQL and data modelling (Snowflake experience highly valued).
