What’s the role? 

As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and maintenance of data solutions that drive business insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, assist in building scalable data pipelines, and contribute to testing and release processes. This role is well-suited for someone with a solid foundation in data engineering and a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic technology environment. 

With Westpac’s data platforms moving into deploying AI Agents, this is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your career in an AI-enabled engineering landscape. This position is open to candidates based in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane
