Pay rate - $27-29 p/hour.
Position details:
Ensure the efficient and accurate handling, preparation, and dispatch of furniture items, adhering to production schedules and safety protocols. Duties and responsibilities:
- Accurately pick furniture for delivery according to schedules to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
- Prepare and verify all dispatch documentation.
- Assist in collecting, storing, and organising furniture and materials
- Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded.
- Identify and report any damages, defects, or order discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in implementing and adhering to quality control measures.
- Assist with general duties, including assembly, cleaning, and equipment maintenance, as required.
- Perform in line with quality assurance standards, WH&S regulations and company policies
Required skills:
- Forklift license an advantage - (please state in your cover letter if you have a valid license)
- Experience of working in warehousing or dispatch.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
- Commitment to workplace safety and familiarity with WSH regulations.
- Physically fit, willing, and able to lift.
