About the Dental Assistant role
Join our dynamic Oral Health team as a Level 2 Dental Assistant. Reporting to the Dental Assistant - Team Lead, the successful candidates will provide high-quality chairside support, ensure safe sterilisation practices, contributing to inclusive, efficient, and client-focused dental care across a variety of settings including our in-house clinics, mobile clinic, and outreach in community-based settings.
We are recruiting to a total of 3.4 FTE with opportunities for ongoing, casual and fixed-term (until 30 June 2027) positions. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Offices located in the Northern Suburbs.
Your Passion and Commitment will see you:
- Provide high quality chairside support to dental operators across a range of clinical settings.
- Undertake accurate documentation including charting & assisting with clinical photography.
- Assist in setup and pack down including the operation and maintenance of sterilisation equipment.
- Enhance your clinical skills through opportunities to work your full scope of practice.
- Support integration and use of innovative technology, including CoTreat AI & YourSmile Lab.
- Contribute to the expansion of public dentistry to priority populations in Melbourne's northern suburbs.
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent
- Desired Current Victorian Drivers Licence
