Your New Role
We have a 6-month max-term contract opportunity for a Design Lead to join the Creative Services team which operates as the internal creative studio within the broader Marketing Services function.
This role is responsible for delivering creative leadership and producing high-quality brand and design campaigns that elevate the AustralianSuper brand and reflect our core values to members, employers, and colleagues.
You will balance hands-on design execution with leadership responsibilities, guiding two graphic designers while also contributing directly to creative outputs such as campaigns, animations, marketing emails, landing pages, brochures, and digital assets. You’ll work closely with teams across the Fund to ensure consistency, elevate the both the visual and non-visual aspects of the brand and enhance the overall design experience across all channels and audience segments.
What You’ll Need
Experience leading graphic designers and collaborating with creative partners
Strong creative skills with high standards in brand, design, photography, and typography
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
Deep understanding of UX/UI design and proficiency in Figma
Ability to provide art direction on photography shoots and video shoots
AI capability, including ideation using Adobe Firefly
Expertise in animation, video, social media content, GIFs, display ads and HTML5
Studio or agency experience with cross-functional creative collaboration
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead creative conversations
Strong interpersonal and prioritisation skills
Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design or Visual Communication.
